You’ll earn AIA Vitality Points in the fitness category if you exercise at a specific intensity, for a specific time.

Earn up to 100 AIA Vitality Points each day

For workouts tracked using Garmin

You can earn up to 15,000 AIA Vitality Points for all fitness-related activities (including gym workouts, fitness device tracking and organised fitness events). Once you have linked your device to AIA Vitality, points take up to 2 weeks to show on your AIA Vitality Points Statement.

The table below shows the number of points you earn when you track your exercise at the required heart rate with a Garmin. If your heart rate data is not available, we will award you points based on how much energy you use when you exercise, i.e. your calorie information, or on the average speed of your exercise.

Mr. Rak Sukkaparb takes part in a minimum of 30 minutes of physical activity in one exercise session. He exercises at an average heart rate of more than 60% of his age-related maximum heart rate, burns a minimum of 150 calories (at a rate of no fewer than 300 calories an hour) and takes 7,500 steps. He uploads his exercise data to AIA Vitality.

Rak will earn 50 points that day for his exercise session for meeting one of the criteria from either his heart rate or speed data or calorie data or step data.
